Themes and questions that emerged during the show:
Clues: Stress, The Shortcuts We Take, The Food We Eat & Our Immune System
Robert – We get clues all the time. Before you know it, you get a repetitive message that what you’re doing isn’t good for you. The stress that will kill us is the small stresses that we don’t address and how they add up.
“Those are as deadly as the big stresses,” says Marilyn. “Stress wears down your immune system. When your system is in the right frame, it can handle things. When it’s down, it can’t handle a cold!”
Make One Better Decision Every Day
Robert – People don’t change until they are too afraid not to. You can do better! You can make one better decision every day. Whatever it is, it’s up to you.
I put myself under a lot of stress and minimized its effect on me and I didn’t eat what I should have been eating. My immune system is miraculous!
Everyone has Cancer
Robert – Everyone has cancer. Your body replaces all of its cells every 7 years. They split and replicate. Why are anti-oxidants important? When cells split, they need electrons. Processed foods don’t provide the right fuel to help electrons. Your immune system, when strong, all you have to do is live and your immune system can take care of itself. When you don’t give your body the proper fuel, it’s not giving the chemical fuel the body needs to kill off the bad cells. When you haven’t taken care of your body, you will start to see the signs of growing cancer. It will manifest itself in different ways in different people. I don’t believe that there is a genetic propensity to develop cancer. I believe there is a weak spot in everyone’s body. Keeping your immune system strong, a sharp knife, will help your body kill off the mal formed cells in your body. If that doesn’t scare you to make one better choice every day, I’m not sure what will. These cancer cells can be triggered at any time.
There are some situations, according to Debby Bruck a homeopath and member of the show’s chat, when there are hereditary factors involved, etc. “Realize that the triggers towards illness are all around us. That’s why we must be environmental/politically active. These hormone disruptors are everywhere. In our water, soil, air, in our material goods, foods, and even in our clothing.”
Robert – “Once you understand this, you can take better care of your body and suspend and maybe reverse a full blown cancer. You can wake up your immune system, when you do have diagnosed cancer.”
How much power we can have in our medical care?
Robert – I have an oncologist. This is the doctor who immediately wants to give you chemotherapy and radiation. I was diagnosed on January 10, 2014. I had to have major surgery first. After 6 weeks, then I met with the oncologist. When I first met him, his goal was to properly motivate me. At one point, I asked him how long I had to live. He gave me 12 months. What if I do chemotherapy? Then he said 30 months. Colon cancer has a 1% cure rate. Most cancers have a 3% cure rate on average. In medical terminology, a cure means that you have survived their treatment for 5 years or more. There has to be more I can do, I said!
When I asked what can I do for myself? My oncologist looked at me like he didn’t understand. Generally, oncologists don’t make recommendations like this.
I told him that I wanted to try something. I needed doctor’s help to do blood work, MRI, etc.
We just met last week and what happened was that he was surprised! Reading between the lines, he didn’t expect me to be doing as well as I am doing. I am doing nothing and I am getting better!
You don’t die from the tumor. You die from cancer taking over the other organs. Right now, my liver is a filter and it’s working hard.
Marilyn – What are you doing, exactly? I have lowered my stress and inflammation causing activities. Everything is on hold. My diet is now a vegetarian diet. I am reading Cancer Free by Bill Henderson, and Chapter 5 is the foundation of my dietary approach. I appreciate this man’s work. He has helped about 6,000 people with their cancer. Joanna Budwig’s protocol has also been influential. Her work is brilliant. I eat a lot of Omega-3 oils mixed with cottage cheese and berries. Keeps me full for hours. Then I eat a huge salad.
You can read all about it on my website, robertscancercure.com. Psychocancertutor.com is also a great resource. He talks about all kinds of treatments of cancer.
Marilyn, “Robert wants to live! You have to really, to your blood, to your cells…you have to want to live and make it manifest.”
Robert – There are some very key things that most of the cancer treatments are based on: plant-strong vegetarian diet. Dr. Max Gerson used juicing. You have to do what you can to pull the micronutrients out as much as possible.
There are viable ways to help your body shrink the tumors and help your body return to the condition when your body knew how to heal itself.
It’s up to people to take the reins and learn about their own health and take the steps necessary to make it so. Anyone can make this happen.
The therapy that I’m using, outlined in Bill Henderson, costs about $300/month. The protocols that promote heavy juicing cost more in terms of buying organic fruits/vegetables. For a few hundred dollars a month, people have a good shot at curing their cancers.
There are many tools at your disposal.
Meditation, yoga, homeopathy, acupuncture, body postures, foods. I took a lot of Ginseng and Stridelis. You can make soups from Westin Price. You can take probiotics, Tumeric and turmeric extract, ginger. The list goes on and on of the number of whole foods, herbs and roots that are available to you. You can get them at your health food stores, vitamin shops and things like that.
Debby Bruck also offered, “Other natural and alternative modes of treatment for colon cancer treatment – It includes Ayurvedic medicine, Naturopathy, Meditation and Yoga, Acupuncture, Aloe Vera, Black co hash, Carctol, chaparral, Chiropractic, Echinacea, Essiac, Green tea, Gerson therapy, music therapy, Reiki, shiatsu, Traditional Chinese medicine, Visualization, Reflexology, Herbal medicine, Flower remedies, Aroma therapy.”
Robert – Please remember: It is important to find someone to guide you.
Our western type of medicine, allopathy, the average cancer patient is worth 1 million dollars in the industry. If everyone gets well using natural methods, imagine what they will do!
I was given the traditional route, but I chose another option. Homeopathy has many different approaches as there are people practicing. You have to find your own internal truth and put your trust in that. You have to want to live. You have to want to live life enough not to give it up. You have to want to see alternatives.
Marilyn – Many years ago, I heard this man talk. He was diagnosed with cancer. He checked into a hospital. Maybe he had a year, 6 months. Why would I allow a doctor who doesn’t believe I will live, treat me?
Robert – It pains me when people don’t want to hear the message.
Marilyn – That’s what an entrepreneur does. They go to the end of the branch. They are risk takers. They don’t take the safe route. People have faith in doctors.
We are in this place right now with health care costs going out of control. My health care costs are only a few hundred each month.
As an entrepreneur, there has to be other ways to do this. We can do better as people, as a community and individually. You can make one better choice, every day. Just one. See what happens.
Marilyn – What does life mean to you? It’s so rare that we’re here. There is so much more. I don’t know what it is. Life is our journey together. We can only be in the now. Set more goals. I don’t know where the path leads, but it’s gotta be great. I want to be around to enjoy it.
Sometimes we get a clue that we’re not done yet. There are things left to share, learn, do, be a part of, support.
“Life has groomed me for something,” says Robert.
Robert, “I am doing better in almost all areas, except for one tumor that’s growing but not indicating. After my 8 week trial of my own design, let’s continue what you’re doing for another 8 weeks, but let’s put you back in the hospital to reconnect your colon. I am thrilled and will be functioning normally. As an entrepreneur, I’ve taken on projects that have lasted years. A few weeks is nothing compared to my long-term vision? I am going to get back into life! I am writing as much of this as possible at robertscancercure.com. People asked me to share, so that’s where I go to write about it.
My oncologist said that if things continue the way they’re going, it’s open-ended. All of that happened in 3 months plus I recovered from major surgery!”
For those without support,
1) Your own belief:
2) The belief of those around you:
You can help people support you.
I was a very bad place in January. Things were marginal for me in a lot of ways…financially, etc. Nothing was easy. I didn’t have health insurance. I was in the process of signing up for Obamacare. We put out a site and people donated almost $10K to help enable us to get where we are now. We asked for help and got it. I haven’t spoken to God as much as I have in the last few months. People have been so helpful. If you don’t feel like you don’t have the support, look around. Talk to people. Contact all of the people you love. Let them know what’s going on. They will be there for you. It’s the miracle of community. My family has been my rock. If you don’t have a family, friends are family you make for yourself.
When I didn’t have money for things, people helped. You have to believe it’s possible. If you think you don’t have what you need, think again and believe. It’s like the law of attraction. It fundamentally starts with you and you will attract what you need.
Marilyn – “Freedom comes from listening to others.”
